We had the baby, a boy, and he needed to spend a week in the Neonatal Care Nursery at the hospital. It's something no parent can be prepared for: you have a baby and something isn't right with it.

Thankfully he's fine now and won't have to worry about the condition anymore. His lungs weren't fully developed when he came out, so he was breathing really fast, and after a week of oxygen treatments and time in an incubator, he's fine and finally home with us.

The nurses who work in labor & delivery and Neo-natal ICU are angels. There is an express entrance to Heaven for them.
